Nebraska vs. Kansas Pay-Per-View Update (11-7-08)

Nebraska clashes with Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Lincoln.

Lincoln - The Nebraska football game against Kansas on Saturday, Nov. 8, will be televised live on a pay-per-view basis through participating cable and satellite providers. Kickoff for the game is set for 1:30 p.m. from Memorial Stadium.

Information about how to purchase the telecast, including a current list of participating cable systems and satellite providers, is attached. Cable and satellite providers will be added throughout the week, and updates will be posted on Huskers.com, KUAthletics.com and FoxSports.com, search: Nebraska pay-per-view as they become available.

Suggested retail price for residential purchase is $29.95. Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net’s pay-per-view division, will produce and distribute the telecast.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast or cable television coverage. Nebraska, Kansas and FSN are working together to make the game available to fans on television on a pay-per-view basis.

Participating cable and satellite providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not preempt FSN’s regularly scheduled programming.

Veteran play-by-play announcer Drew Goodman will call the action with NFL on FOX analyst Jayice Pearson, while Richard Baldinger serves as sideline reporter.

As of Friday, Nov. 7, the following programming providers have agreed to offer the Kansas-Nebraska pay-per-view telecast.
