Lincoln- The Nebraska football team continued preparations for its Saturday match-up with Missouri with a two-and-a-half hour workout inside Memorial Stadium Wednesday afternoon.

Head Coach Bill Callahan was pleased with the high level of intensity in practice.

“We practice hard and we demand a lot out of the players,” Callahan said. “There is no doubt that after last week they want to improve every aspect of their play and their performance. But they are loose and ready to go.”

Callahan noted that all three starters who have been injured practiced Wednesday.

“Relative to the health of our team, we are in good shape,” Callahan said. “Cory Ross, Ross Pilkington and Josh Bullocks all were on the field performing today, so we are encouraged by that.”

NU continues preparations on Thursday with an afternoon practice in preparation for the 11:00 a.m. Saturday contest with the Tigers.
