OMAHA, Neb. -- Tonight's highly-anticipated baseball game between ninth-ranked Nebraska and Creighton at Rosenblatt Stadium has been rescheduled and will now be played on Wednesday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m.

The change was made due to the cold weather forecast for tonight, which could see the temperature dip into the 30's.

Future games between Creighton (18-7) and Nebraska (21-4-1) on April 22 (in Lincoln) and May 13 (in Omaha) will not be affected by tonight's change.

The April 23 game will be broadcast on television by WOWT's 6.20 (Cox Channel 120) and on MyTV (Ch. 110 on Time Warner Cable and Ch. 17 on DirecTV) as well as on the Husker Sports Radio Network.

All tickets, media credentials and parking passes already distributed for the game should be kept and will be honored when the April 23 game takes place.

The Huskers will return to action this weekend, as they begin a three-game series with Texas Tech. Friday’s first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m. and tickets for all three games this weekend can be purchased at Huskers.com or by calling the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED.
