Lincoln – The anticipation was high and sales were brisk as tickets to the regular-season home matches at the Nebraska Coliseum sold out Wednesday morning.

Tickets for all 14 regular-season matches at the NU Coliseum sold out in less than 45 minutes, marking the fastest that the Coliseum has sold out for the season. Fans began camping out in front of the NU Ticket Office as early as Tuesday afternoon, 16 hours before tickets went on sale, and over a dozen people were in line at midnight, hoping to get the best of the limited number of reserved seats that were available.

Despite the sellout of the Coliseum, fans still have a number of ways to see the Huskers in person, beginning with the Red/White Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.

Tickets for that match are on sale now with general admission prices at $10 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors. In addition, there is no cost for UNL students with a valid student ID and children ages 6 and under. The Huskers will receive their national title rings and the two new banners at the NU Coliseum will be unveiled.

While the Coliseum is sold out, tickets for the Huskers’ match against Hawaii at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on Sunday, Oct. 21, are now on sale. General Admission tickets are going quickly for that match and tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors. Fans can purchase tickets to both matches by visiting Huskers.com, calling the Nebraska Ticket Office at 800-8-BIGRED or by stopping by the Ticket Office during regular business hours.

Nebraska will also play three matches at Qwest Center in Omaha during the 2007 season. Tickets to the AVCA Showcase on Aug. 24-25 and the Penn State match on Sept. 2 can be purchased from Ticketmaster by calling (402) 475-1212 in Lincoln or (402) 422-1212 in Omaha or by visiting Ticketmaster.com. Tickets for those events can not be purchased at the Nebraska Ticket Office.
