Huskers Shine Despite Rainy Day

Laredo, Texas - Rain has forced the suspension of the First Round of the Border Olympics. All but four teams have finished their First Rounds.
Due to the wet weather, the Second Round has been cancelled.
This will be the second straight season in which the Border Olympics was shortened to 36 holes due to rain.
The Huskers were able to finish their first round with an overall score of 285, putting them in a tie for 8th.
Michael Colgate led the pack, firing a 66 for the first round. The senior is sitting in 1st place heading into tomorrow's rounds. 
Jace Guthmiller trailed shortly behind him, shooting a 69. The sophomore is tied for 11th. 
Jackson Wendling and Tanner Owen both carded pairs of 75's. The two are tied for 74th place.
Senior Justin Jennings shot a 76, putting him in a tie for 83rd heading into tomorrow.
Teams will resume play at 7:30 a.m.Saturday, with the Final Round starting immediately after.
