Senior (1996-97)
Maureen Regan helped the Huskers to three consecutive NCAA West Regional appearances during her Nebraska career after competing her freshman season at Minnesota. The Omaha native was a part-time starter in NU's lineup as a senior, competing in 18 rounds and posting an 81.68 stroke average. Regan did not compete in the Husker lineup during the fall campaign but made her first lineup appearance in the second spring tournament at the Betsy Rawls Invitational, March 14-15. She tied for 69th (256) at Texas, before tying for 45th (246) at the Rainbow Wahine Collegiate.

She produced her best tournament of the season at the Utah-Dixie Classic, posting a career-best eighth-place finish with a season-best 232, before finishing in a tie for 44th (250) to help the Huskers to a third-place finish at the Big 12 Championships, April 21-22. Regan's second-round 78 and final-round 81 were Nebraska's second-best scores of each round and helped the Huskers qualify for a fourth straight NCAA Regional appearance.

A three-year letterwinner, Regan did not compete in Nebraska's top five at the 1997 NCAA West Regional.

Junior (1995-96)
Regan competed in Nebraska's lineup in 11 of 12 events on the season and played in 34 rounds during the season. She closed the season with an 82.68 stroke average, which ranked fifth on the team.

She produced her best performance of the season by tying for 10th (239) at the Monica Welsh Memorial to open the spring campaign. Regan added a tie for 15th (244) at the Marilynn Smith/Sunflower Invitational, which included a season-best opening-round 77, and followed with a tie for 23rd (161) at the shortened San Diego State Fall Classic. She matched her season-best 77 in the final round of the Utah-Dixie Classic to finish in a tie for 50th.

Regan closed the season by helping the Huskers tie for third at the Big Eight Championships with a 32nd-place individual finish (261). She competed in her second straight NCAA West Regional and finished with a three-round total of 261 to close in 97th place.

A standout in the classroom, Regan captured NGCA Scholastic All-America honors and was also a first-team academic All-Big Eight selection.

Sophomore (1994-95)
Regan saw significant playing time in her first year with the Huskers after transferring from Minnesota following the fall portion of the 1994-95 season. At Minnesota, she competed in 14 rounds in the fall and notched a 79.21 stroke average, including a season-best 74.

In third competitive rounds during the spring season at Nebraska, Regan managed an 83.08 average, including a season-best 76. Despite a slow start in the spring, she came on strong down the stretch. She earned her first lineup spot of the season at NU's second spring tournament, posting a 172 to tie for 47th in the weather-shortened River Wilderness Intercollegiate, Feb. 20-21. She added a 163 to tie for 42nd over two rounds at the weather-shortened Utah-Dixie Classic, before finishing 32nd (241) at the Texas A&M Memorial, March 24-25.

She added a three-round total of 259 to finish 66th at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, but was not in Nebraska's lineup at the 1995 Big Eight Championships.

She bounced back to earn a lineup spot at the 1995 NCAA West Regional, tying for 93rd with a three-round total of 245 to help the Huskers to a 12th-place team finish.

Freshman (Minnesota, 1993-94)
Regan played in 11 of 12 tournaments for Minnesota as a freshman. She notched a 12th-place finish at the College of Charleston Invitational, and posted two more top-20 finishes before taking 28th at the 1994 Big Ten Championships.
