She matched teammate Jane Deeter as the Huskers' top finisher in Ames.

Slattery was NU's No. 4 finisher (174) at the AIAW Region VI Championships in Iowa City, before adding a 176, including a second-round 82, at the Kansas Invitational. She closed her junior season with a 183 at the Mizzou Invitational. She did not return to the team for her final season of eligibility in 1979-80.

The Omaha native closed her Husker career with an 86.25 stroke average over 16 rounds in her final three seasons. Complete statistics are not available for her freshman season in 1975-76, but Slattery claimed All-Big Eight honors in 1976.

The 1975-76 season was the first year for varsity women's golf at the University of Nebraska.

Slattery redshirted and did not compete for the Huskers in her third season at Nebraska in 1977-78.

Sophomore (1976-77)

She helped the Huskers to a fourth-place team finish with an eighth-place individual finish. Teammate Nan Circo tied for ninth (172) to give NU a pair of top-10 finishers.

Slattery added a season-best 83 in the opening round of the Sooner Invitational to finish with a season-best 256 over three rounds. She began the season with a 173 at the first-ever Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Golf Classic in Oklahoma City.

The Huskers also finished fourth at the AIAW Region VI Tournament and qualified for the AIAW National Tournament in East Lansing, Mich. At nationals, Slattery helped the Huskers to a 22nd-place finish with a two-round total of 683.
