Senior (1977-78)
Nebraska's first All-Big Eight women's golfer, Nan Circo was the leader of the Huskers' first team in 1975-76. As a senior in 1977-78, Circo captured All-Big Eight honors by tying for sixth (162) at the Big Eight Championships on Pioneers Golf Course in Lincoln.

As a junior, Circo finished in a six-way tie for 33rd (320) in four rounds at the 1977 AIAW National Championships. The national field consisted of 170 individuals, including eventual LPGA stars Nancy Lopez (T2nd), Beth Daniel (T2nd), Patty Sheehan (6th) and Betsy King (T29th).

In Nebraska's first season of varsity golf in 1975-76, Circo led the Huskers to the first-ever Big Eight title and a team appearance at the AIAW National Championships in East Lansing, Mich. Circo guided NU to a 22nd-place team finish.

The Omaha native notched a season-best 75 in the first round of the Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Classic in Oklahoma City, when she recorded a season-best three-round score of 236. Circo took 10th (168) at the AIAW Region VI Championships in Minneapolis, then led the Huskers with a 169 at the Illini Spring Invitational. After her All-Big Eight performance, she capped her NU career by tying for fifth (171) at the Minnesota Invitational.

Circo finished her third varsity season at Nebraska with an 82.36 stroke average while competing in all 11 rounds for NU. In 22 rounds in her final two seasons, Circo produced an 82.09 stroke average. Complete statistics are unavailable from the 1975-76 season.

Junior (1976-77)
Circo produced one of the top individual seasons in school history by finishing in a tie for 33rd (81-81-76-82-320) at the AIAW National Championships. Circo competed in every round for the Huskers and posted an 81.82 stroke average on the year. She tied for ninth (172) at the Big Eight Championships in Norman, Okla., helping NU to a fourth-place team finish. She was also NU's top finisher at the Sooner Invitational, recording a three-round score of 254.

Circo opened the season with a two-round total of 154 at the first-ever Susie Maxwell Berning All-College Classic in Oklahoma City. She finished eighth individually, including a career-best 74 in the opening round. Tulsa's Nancy Lopez won the event with a 142 (67-75).

Sophomore (1975-76)
Circo was a sophomore star on Nebraska's first-ever varsity women's golf team under Coach Larry Romjue in 1975-76. Circo helped Nebraska capture the first-ever Big Eight championship in women's golf, which was held in Columbia, Mo.

The Huskers also finished fourth at the AIAW Region VI Tournament and qualified for the AIAW National Tournament in East Lansing, Mich. At nationals, Circo helped the Huskers to a 22nd-place finish with a two-round total of 683.
