The Nebraska men's tennis team heads to Madison, Wis., this weekend for the Huskers' final competition of the fall season at the Big Ten Individual Championship.

Action begins Friday, Nov. 4, with players from 11 Big Ten schools, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin joining the Huskers on the courts at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

The tournament will begin with doubles action on Friday at approximately 9 a.m., followed by singles play. All times after the 9 a.m. matches will be approximate, as new matches will start as soon as courts become available from previous matches.

The Big Ten Individual Championship will feature a 64-player singles draw and a 32-team doubles draw as well as consolation draws for each. Each singles player will be guaranteed three matches. Last season, the Nebraska doubles team of Toby and Dusty Boyer claimed the Big Ten title at the championship, while Toby Boyer added a runner-up finish in singles.

"Last year went really well for me," Toby Boyer said, "I made the singles final and won doubles with my brother. Hopefully this year I can put myself back in the same position and get an opportunity to win the tournament in both events."

Tournament draws and results along with live video will be available on the Big Ten Individual Championship home page.
