Bloomington, Ind.-- The Nebraska men's tennis team took a 7-0 setback at Indiana on Friday.

In doubles, Chris Dean and Rok Krizaj were handed a 6-2 loss by Indiana's Afonso Salgado and Bennett Crane, before the Hoosiers clinched the doubles point with another 6-2 victory from the No. 2 doubles pair of Antonio Cembellin and Stefan Lugonjic over Nebraska's David Samardzija and Micah Klousia.

Nebraska's No. 1 doubles team of Toby Boyer and Dylan Bednarczyk were locked in a heated battled with the Indiana pair of Raheel Manji and Keivon Tabrizi. Indiana's tandem entered the match ranked No. 69 nationally, but Boyer and Bednarczyk were tied with the Hoosiers, 4-4, when Indiana clinched the doubles point with wins at the other two spots.

In singles play, Bednarczyk continued to play well, storming to a 6-4 first-set win over Manji at No. 1 singles, before Manji rallied for a 6-3 win in the second set. Manji prevailed by winning the tiebreaking third set 1-0. Boyer was also extremely competitive in the No. 2 spot, dropping a 6-4, 7-5 decision to Indiana's Matthew McCoy.

Dean also put up a good fight at No. 4 singles before settling for a 6-3, 7-5 loss to Tabrizi. Indiana cruised to wins at the No. 5, No. 6 and No. 3 spots.
