2009: Sophomore
Delano was a second-team AVCA All-American, averaging 2.34 kills and 1.09 blocks per set  • Ranks sixth in the Big 12 in blocks and fifth in hitting percentage (.339), as she was the only freshman or sophomore to be ranked in the top 10 in both categories • Reached double figures in kills 10 times and has hit .400 or better in 14 matches this year • Totaled nine kills in both of Nebraska’s NCAA Regional matches • Hit .500 with nine kills on 18 swings in NU’s first round win over Coastal Carolina on Dec. 4 • Totaled seven kills on .700 hitting and three blocks in a sweep at Kansas on Nov. 21 • Put together a strong match against Texas A&M on Nov. 11 with 12 kills on .556 hitting and a match-high five blocks • Keyed NU’s sweep of No. 8 Iowa State with eight kills on .571 hitting and two blocks on Nov. 7 • Hit a career-best .833 with 10 kills on 12 swings and added four blocks in a sweep of Missouri on Nov. 4. Her hitting percentage was the sixth-best effort in school history • Totaled 12 kills, five blocks and six digs against No. 14 Iowa State on Oct. 21 •Collected 10 kills and added four blocks in a sweep at No. 19 Baylor on Oct. 14  • Hit .600 with 10 kills on 15 swings and added five blocks and five digs against Kansas on Oct. 7 • Tied her career high with 14 kills on .414 hitting along with four blocks and five digs at Oklahoma on Sept. 30 • Totaled seven kills and a team-high five blocks against No. 2 Texas on Sept. 26 • Pounded 10 kills on .474 hitting and added three blocks against Texas Tech on Sept. 16 • Named to the Ameritas Players Challenge All-Tournament team, as she averaged 2.33 kills per set on .415 hitting and 1.00 block per set • Recorded 12 kills on .500 hitting and five blocks in NU’s win over BYU on Sept. 11 • Turned in a dominant effort at the LSU Tiger Classic, averaging 2.00 kills on .424 hitting and 1.88 blocks per set in two matches at the Tiger Classic • Had nine kills on .389 hitting and a career-high nine blocks (including four solo stuffs) against LSU on Sept. 4, and followed up with seven kills on .467 hitting and six blocks in a sweep of Tulane the following day • Established career bests in kills (14), blocks (five) and hitting percentage (.400) in a five-set victory over No. 11 Minnesota at the Runza/AVCA Showcase on Aug. 29

2008: Redshirt Freshman
Delano was the Huskers’ utility player in 2008, training at middle blocker, right side hitter and outside hitter before undergoing season-ending surgery on Nov. 13 • Appeared in 13 matches, averaging 1.00 kills, 0.71 digs and 0.67 blocks per set • Started at right side hitter against Missouri on Nov. 12 in place of an injured Lindsey Licht, as Delano matched her season high with four blocks and added four kills • Had one kill and a block in the final set against Oklahoma on Oct. 8 • Recorded a block in limited duty against Texas A&M on Oct. 22 • Made her first career start at No. 18 Kansas State on Sept. 17, establishing career bests for kills (7), digs (16) and blocks (4) while also recording her first ace • Established then-career bests for kills (6) and attempts (12), as she split time at outside hitter against Northeastern on Sept. 5 • Totaled two kills and two blocks against Oral Roberts on Sept. 1.

High School
Delano was one of the anchors of a Bellevue West volleyball program that compiled a 170-10 record and won four consecutive Class A state titles • Rated No. 25 nationally on Prepvolleyball.com’s 2006 Senior Aces list • Selected for Volleyball Magazine’s Fab 50 in 2007 • Was a four-year starter for coaches Joanne Kappas and Alyssa LeGrand, earning first-team all-state honors in each of her last three seasons in volleyball • Selected to the AVCA High School Senior All-America Team after totaling 487 kills on .356 hitting while adding 107 blocks in leading Bellevue West to a 43-1 record and a No. 7 national ranking in 2006 • Totaled 53 kills in three state tournament matches, including a match-high 21 kills in the state title match against Grand Island • Collected first-team Super-State accolades from the Lincoln Journal Star in each of her final three years • Led Bellevue West to a 39-3 record and a state title in 2005 with 400 kills and 102 blocks to garner first-team all-state honors • Multi-sport athlete who was the only athlete in the state to earn first-team All-Nebraska honors from the Omaha World-Herald in both volleyball and basketball in 2005-06  • Started all four seasons in basketball and earned all-state accolades in each of her last three campaigns • Guided BWHS to a 26-3 record and the school’s first Class A basketball state title as a senior, averaging 11.5 points and 7.0 rebounds per game en route to second-team Super-State honors •  Averaged 13.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game as a junior to earn first-team all-state honors from the Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World-Herald • Played club volleyball for the Nebraska Juniors and the Nebraska Volleyball Academy • Selected to the All-Tournament team at the 2006 USA Volleyball Junior Olympic Championships • Recruited to play both volleyball and basketball by a number of programs including Missouri, Iowa State and Creighton and also looked at Duke and Kansas State for basketball before committing to NU in June of 2006 • Her dad (Bill) played basketball at Nebraska-Omaha, while her older brother (Bill) played basketball at Wayne State.
