Lincoln, Neb. - The undefeated Nebraska women’s tennis team travels to face the Fullerton Titans on Tuesday to defend its 15-0 season (2-0 Big Ten). The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. (CT) on Tuesday, March 21, at the Titans’ home courts in Fullerton, Calif.
The No. 49 Huskers visit California after an off week following their 5-2 defeat of conference opponent Purdue, giving the Big Red its national ranking. Tennis action against Cal State Fullerton will mark the last of Nebraska’s non-conference opponents for the spring season.
Nebraska leads the all-time series against the Titans, 10-1, after the Big Red earned a 4-3 road victory during last years dual with Cal State Fullerton. Cal State Fullerton currently posts a 11-1 record on its season, with its only loss coming from conference opponent Long Beach State (4-3).
Following the mid-week trip to California, the Huskers will round out the weekend by visiting Big Ten rivals Minnesota and Wisconsin at the respective school’s home courts. The match against the Golden Gophers is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 in Minneapolis, Minn. Tennis action against the Badgers begins at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 26 in Madison, Wis. All match times are central and subject to change.
