Fourth-year head coach Doc Sadler will join Husker fans and alumni for a pair of events while the Nebraska basketball team is on the road during the non-conference season. In conjunction with the Nebraska Athletic Department, Nebraska Alumni Association and the association’s local chapters, events have been set up in Los Angeles and Las Vegas for fans to come out and meet with Sadler and enjoy the Big Red experience first-hand.

The first alumni/fan event will be on Saturday, Nov. 28, when the Huskers hit Tinsel Town to face the USC Trojans. The event will start at 6 p.m. PT at the Los Angeles Downtown Marriott where fans will be able to listen to Sadler talk about this year’s team and the upcoming schedule. Hotel and game ticket information, and information on reserving a spot at the pregame event, can be found on the Nebraska Alumni Association web site at http://www.huskeralum.org/travel/awaygames/mensBB.shtml. Fans can purchase tickets to then watch the Huskers and Trojans face off in a nationally televised contest on Sunday, Nov. 29, at 1:30 p.m. PT. at the Galen Center on the USC campus.

In December, Sadler will host another Big Red event as the Huskers prepare to take on Tulsa and either BYU or Nevada in the HoopTV Las Vegas Classic on Dec. 22-23. Sadler will meet with fans at Torino’s Sports Pub and Restaurant on Monday, Dec. 21, to kick off the week. For information and registration details, check out the alumni association’s web site.

For Huskers fans traveling to Las Vegas to see the games, the tournament promoters have partnered with Vegas.com to offer official travel packages, including airfare, lodging and tickets to the games. Information on how fans can join the team in Las Vegas is available on the Internet at http://www.vegas.com/hoops/classic.html.
