**PLEASE NOTE: a completed parent and physician consent form (which is emailed to you after successful online registration) must be submitted prior to check-in and is required to participate in all Doc Sadler Basketball Camps per University policy - campers are NOT fully registered until we have this form on file in our office. When we receive the completed form it will be logged and a final confirmation email will be sent to you.

Team Camp

This camp offers teams (with a minimum of eight players) from around the region a chance to grow together during the offseason while playing against quality competition. Teams will be divided into three divisions and the team coach will be allowed to choose their division. Every team is guaranteed six games including five in pool play and a single-elimination tournament on the final day to determine the division champion.

 

Dates: Saturday, June 27, to Sunday, June 28

Cost: $75 per commuter camper (no dorm housing is available this year due to campus housing conflict; Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch provided to campers).

 

Overnight Camp (ages 8 – 18)

This camp will offer instruction by Coach Sadler and his coaching staff to improve each camper’s basketball techniques.  All basic basketball principles will be emphasized to improve each camper.  Camp will also include team games.  Campers can choose to stay in the dorm or be a commuter.

 

Time: All day

Dates: Sunday, July 12, to Wednesday, July 15

Cost: $295 per person for dorm campers; $225 per person for commuter campers

  

Little Dribblers (boys & girls ages 5 – 8)

This camp has an emphasis on the fundamentals of the game and is geared toward younger children.

 

Time: 10 a.m. to Noon

Dates: Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23

Cost: $75 per person

 

Mini-Husker Camp (boys & girls entering grades 7 and below)

This camp will focus on player fundamentals and game play. This camp takes place during an NCAA recruiting dead period. ONLY campers entering grades 7 and below are allowed to enroll and attend.

 

Time: 1:30 to 5 p.m.

Dates: Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23

Cost: $150 per person

Ballhandling & Shooting Clinic (boys & girls ages 8 – 18)

These clinics focus on the offensive fundamentals of the game.  Shooting, dribbling and passing techniques will be taught to each camper.  Two clinics are offered; each session will be completely different and separate from the other.  Campers can sign up for either or both clinic.

 

Time: 9 a.m. to Noon

Dates: Clinic I, Friday, July 24; Clinic II, Friday, July 31 (each clinic will cover different topics)

Cost: $50 per person per clinic
 

 

Post Player Clinic (boys & girls ages 8 – 18)

Campers will be focused on improving post play, including offensive techniques.  Two clinics are offered; each clinic will be completely different and separate from the other.  Campers can sign up for either or both clinics.

 

Time: 1-4 p.m.

Dates: Clinic I, Friday, July 24; Clinic II, Friday, July 31 (each clinic will cover different topics)

Cost: $50 per person per clinic


 

Day Camp (boys & girls ages 8 – 18)

This camp has an emphasis on developing the basic fundamentals of basketball - shooting, dribbling, passing and defense.  The camp includes instruction, drills, and contests as well as a large amount of competitions.  Players are grouped according to age, height and ability level.

 

Time: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dates: Monday, July 27, to Thursday, July 30

Cost: $225 per person (lunch provided)
