Patrick Letz opened up the season placing third at the Augustana Twilight with a time of 19:10.50, helping the Huskers take the team title...finished ninth at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational (26:02.6)...led the Huskers at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invitational placing 85th overall (24:48.5)...came in at 136th at the ISU Pre-National Invitational (25:30.1)...posted a 62nd-place finish at the Big Ten Championships (26:00.7)...ran in at 80th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (31:57.2)...earned academic All-Big Ten honors in the fall of 2016...earned a spot on the 2017 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
Letz competed in all six meets as a junior in 2015...finished 72nd at the Big Ten Championships (25:02.7)...placed 82nd at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 31:48.1, which put him as NU's No. 3 runner...posted a time of 19:33.48 to place sixth in the University Division at the Augustana Twilight...finished 34th at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational with a time of 26:24.5...finished 22nd at the Kansas Rim Rock Classic (24:53.0)...ran a time of 25:00.3 at the Bradley Classic, finishing 52nd overall...claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.
Letz ran in all six meets as a sophomore and was a regular in Nebraska's top-five finishers...opened his season with a 30th-place finish (19:31.87) at the Augustana Twilight Invitational...was the fourth Husker to cross the finish line at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invitational, taking 17th overall with a time of 27:05.70...was Nebraska's No. 5 finisher (27:22) at the Roy Griak Invite before placing 54th overall (25:44.5) at the Bradley Classic in Peoria, Ill., to close the regular season...was back among Nebraska's top five at the Big Ten Championships, placing 85th with a time of 25:39.7...was the fifth Husker to cross the finish line at the NCAA Midwest Regional, where he ran a time of 32:16.0...earned academic All-Big Ten honors and a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2014.
Letz opened his Husker career by finishing 11th in the University Division of the Augustana Twilight...took 39th (27:06.90) at the Woody Greeno/Nebraska Invite in Lincoln...earned Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll spots both semesters.

Letz competed as a 3,200-meter runner for Carl Sandburg High School...ran a personal best of 9:37.92 in the outdoor 3,200 for a fourth-place finish at the Illinois 3A Downers Grove North Boys Sectional...added an indoor personal-best of 9:54.87.
