Elizabeth Kirby opened the season at the Augustana Twilight finishing 34th overall with a time of 18:14.31...placed 48th at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational (24:01.5)...placed 45th at the Joe Piane Invitational (18:59.1)...placed 35th at the ISU Adidas Pre Nationals (23:14.7)...finished 114th at the Big Ten Championships (24:30.5)...came in at 158th at the NCAA Midwest Regional (22:39.0).

2015 (Freshman)
Kirby competed in all four regular-season meets for the Huskers as well as the Big Ten Championships...finished 117th at the Big Ten Championships (23:47.7)...placed 49th at the Augustana Twilight (18:23.0)...also came in at 49th in the Kansas Rim Rock Classic (23:22.3)...earned spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2015-16.

Transferred to Nebraska from Missouri Southern after competing for one year with the a freshman on the cross country team in 2013, ran in all six races and finished 53rd at the MIAA Championships, completing the 6K course in a time of 23:49.60...ran a season-best 5K time of 18:54.18 at the Southern Stampede...was a 2013 graduate of California High School in California, Mo...was a three-time all-district selection in cross country and won the district and conference championships as a senior in 2012, leading the Pintos to team titles at both...earned two all-state selections in cross country by finishing fifth and 21st at the state meet...on the track, set school records in the two mile, the 5,000 meters and the 4x800-meter relay while earning all-district and all-sectional honors in the 3,200 meters.
