Outlook: Ryan Haith's steady improvement at the No. 6 position last year will help him out this season. "He is steadily gaining confidence will will make him a very dangerous player," Coach Kerry McDermott said.

As a Junior: (Spring 2000) Haith was the only Nebraska native that competed during the 2000 season. He recorded an 8-7 record at the No. 6 position. As a doubles specialist, Haith played at the No. 1 and 3 spots with three different partners, and had an 8-8 mark. Haith was the only Husker selected for the Academic All-Big 12 first team. (Fall 1999) Haith was 3-2 during the fall season and 1-2 in doubles play.

As a sophomore (1998-99): Haith spent the majority of the 1999 season at No. 3 doubles, where he and Kai Rieke compiled a 4-11 record. Haith made the Husker singles lineup once, winning at the No. 6 spot.

As a Redshirt Freshman (1997-98): Hampered by a back injury, Haith was 0-1 at No. 6 singles and did not play doubles.

As a Freshman (1996-97): Haith missed the entire spring season with a back injury, was a medical redshirt.

Other: Haith played basketball, tennis and golf at Lincoln East High School. In 1995, Haith won a state championship at No. 1 doubles.
