A native of Hoesbach, Germany, Preissler will get into the mix immediately, likely challenging for one of the top three spots in the singles lineup.


Previous School/College:

Preissler competed in tennis in Germany, earning a ranking as high as No. 276 in the nation. He was  state champion in the men's under 21 tournament in 2000. He attended Krouberg-Gymnasium in Aschattenburg, Germany, graduating in 1998. From there, Preissler went to the University of Munich until coming to the United States in January 2003. 



Florian is the son of Annelie and Gerd Preissler. He was born March 1, 1979, in Erlenbach a. Main, Germany. He has one sister, Kirstin.
