The Nebraska wrestling and men's and women's basketball programs will be experiencing some major facility improvements over the next five years, starting with the addition of the Hendricks Training Complex.

The Hendricks Training Complex, which will provide new practice courts, new locker rooms and new areas for both stength and conditioning and athletic medicine at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, will begin construction in the summer of 2010. The new practice facility will be open for student-athletes at Nebraska beginning in the 2011-12 season - the same season the Huskers are scheduled to begin play in the Big Ten Conference.

In addition to new practice and training facility, the Huskers will move into a new home for men's and women's basketball in the near future with the passage of  Lincoln's new downtown arena project . The Nebraska Athletic Department will partner with the City of Lincoln in the construction of the new arena, with an anticipated first season of play in 2013-14.
