Lincoln, Neb. --- The Nebraska women's soccer team defeated Iowa State on Sunday at the Hawks Championship center on Sunday by a score of 1-0 in its second game of the spring season.
After spending the first half and most of the second half tied 0-0, Nebraska's Amanda McClanahan found the back of the net off a rebound from Faith Carter's shot to give the Huskers a 1-0 lead over the Cyclones. Iowa State was not able to comeback and the Huskers got their second win of the spring season.
NU is back in action on April 1 as it welcome FC Kansas City to Barbara Hibner Stadium at 2 p.m. for the final home game of the spring season.
