Kansas City, Mo. --- The Nebraska soccer team won its spring game against Oklahoma on Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-1, giving the Huskers a 3-1 record this spring.
The teams played scoreless for most of the first half, before Meg Brandt's cross ricocheted off an OU player and found the back of the net, giving the Huskers the lead. Later in the period, Haley Hanson connected with an assist from Hannah McKinney to give NU a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
In the second half, the Sooners scored off a penalty kick with 18 minutes left to play, but it was not enough to overcome the Huskers.
