2007 Outlook
Place-kicker Daniel Lee joined the Nebraska program in January after transferring from Vanderbilt. A native of Kansas City, Mo., Lee participated in spring drills with the Huskers, but must sit out the 2007 season under NCAA transfer rules. Lee will have one season of eligibility remaining and will look to use this fall to make his case for a shot at the place-kicking job in 2008.

Lee played sparingly at Vanderbilt in 2005, after redshirting in 2004. He did not participate in football in 2006.

Before Nebraska (Park Hill South HS/Vanderbilt)
Lee was out of football in 2006, after playing sparingly for the Commodores in 2005. He did not attempt a field goal or extra point, but kicked off in the fourth quarter of the season opener against Wake Forest. Lee redshirted in 2004, after choosing Vandy over Pitt, South Florida, Montana State and Utah State. Lee earned all-state, all-conference and all-district honors for Park Hill South as a senior when he connected on four field goals for Coach Ron Litchfield’s team. He also saw time at quarterback.

Personal
The son of Danny Lee and Melanie Lee, Daniel Lee was born on Aug. 21, 1985. He is majoring in sociology.
