Sullivan is a five-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll selection and is on track to earn his degree in business administration this December.

Before Nebraska (Bishop Neumann HS)
Sullivan was a standout two-way lineman for Class C-1 powerhouse Bishop Neumann High School in Wahoo. A team captain as a senior, Sullivan was voted the most outstanding lineman on both sides of the ball as a senior in 2002. His performance for Coach Tim Turman helped Neumann to an impressive record during Sullivan's years at the school. Neumann won the C-1 state title in his senior season, after reaching the semifinals in 2001 and posting a runner-up finish in 2000. Sullivan earned honorable-mention all-state honors from both the Lincoln Journal Star and the Omaha World-Herald for his efforts. A three-year letterman in track, Sullivan was also a member of Neumann's chapter of the National Honor Society.

Personal
The son of Mike and Sandy Sullivan, Tony was born on July 12, 1985. Sullivan carries a 3.229 cumulative grade-point average in business administration. He has been active in community outreach efforts, assisting with the Lincoln Action Program and local hospital visits.
