2007 (Senior)
Bryan Wilson was a key member of the Nebraska secondary over his final two seasons in the program. Wilson was a top reserve at safety over his final two years and also played a key role in Nebraska’s nickel and dime defensive packages.

A letterman for the Huskers in 2006 and 2007, Wilson appeared in 27 games with one start in his NU career. He recorded 21 total tackles, including 13 solos and one tackle for loss. He also recovered one fumble and posted two quarterback hurries in his career.

Wilson was in NU's regular safety rotation and played in all 12 games in 2007, including his only career start against Texas A&M. He finished the season with 17 total tackles, including 10 solo stops. He made a career-high five tackles at Missouri and had four other games with two tackles. He was also a key special teams performer.

Wilson, who joined the NU program after two seasons at Pierce College in his homestate of California, earned his degree in sociology from Nebraska in December of 2007.

2005 (Sophomore)
Wilson played in NU’s season-opening victory over Maine, but did not have a tackle. He did not play the remainder of the season.

Before Nebraska (Granada Hills HS/Pierce College)
Wilson was a standout cornerback who starred in 2004 at Pierce College in Los Angeles. One of eight Californians in NU's 2005 class, Wilson was a key performer for Coach Dave Banuelous, posting 39 tackles, nine pass breakups, one sack and one fumble recovery. Wilson sat out the 2003 season because of injury at the College of the Canyons. He chose Nebraska after also visiting Texas Tech and Portland State.

Following a standout prep career at Granada Hills High School, Wilson was ranked as one of the nation's top 25 cornerbacks according to Tom Lemming. Wilson finished his high school career with six interceptions, playing in just two games during his senior season due to an injury. He also had outstanding numbers on offense in high school, with better than 70 receptions, including six touchdowns. He also ran for 756 yards and 11 touchdowns as a junior. He was an All-Del Rey League defensive back in 2001, and earned All-West Valley honors as a junior. He originally committed to Oregon State out of high school and received offers from Arizona State and Washington State.

Personal
Wilson is the son of Bryan and Judy Wilson, and was born on May 9, 1984. He completed his bachelor's degree in sociology at Nebraska in December of 2007. Wilson has been an active participant in the Huskers’ hospital visits.
