Kyle Kollmorgen was one of 13 returning lettermen on the offensive line that helped Nebraska to back-to-back national rushing titles in 2000 and 2001.  A three-year letterman, Kollmorgen served on NU's PAT and field goal units for four season.  In his career, Kollmorgen posted 35 career pancakes (8 in 2001, 15 in 2000, 11 in 1999, 1 in 1998).  He graduated in December 2001

Kollmorgen played in every game in 2001 except the season opener vs. TCU.  He also saw action in the Rose Bowl against Miami.  He totaled eight pancakes with a season-best three twice - vs. Troy State and at Baylor.  He helped lead the Huskers to their 15th NCAA rushing title, with NU averaging 314.7 yards per game.  Kollmorgen was the right guard on NU's field goal and PAT units.

In 2000, Kollmorgen played in every regular season game as a backup to right tackle Jason Schwab and as the left tackle on Nebraska's PAT and field goal units.  Kollmorgen recorded 15 pancakes (1.4 per game), eight best on the team, with a career-best six vs. Baylor.  He also had three vs. Texas Tech and Kansas.

Kollmorgen saw action in five games in 1999, including the 2000 Fiesta Bowl vs. Tennessee.  He had a total of 11 pancakes in the four regular-season games with a season-best four against Iowa State.  He had two each against Iowa, California, and Missouri.  He was also a member of the NU PAT and field goal units.

In 1998, Kollmorgen played in ever regular-season game plus the Holiday Bowl vs. Arizona.  He had one pancake vs. Iowa State.  Kollmorgen was a first-team member of the PAT and field goal units and a backup left tackle to Adam Julch and Ben Gessford.  A scholarship athlete, Kollmorgen redshirted his first year.
