2005 (Senior)
Offensive tackle Cornealius Fuamatu-Thomas was a key factor in the Nebraska offensive line for the majority of the season before being sidelined by injury. Thomas’ move into the starting lineup at left tackle allowed senior Seppo Evwaraye to remain at his natural right tackle spot.

The 6-5, 315-pound Thomas played in the first eight games of the season, including lining up as Nebraska’s starting left tackle in the season’s first seven contests. The play of Thomas and his offensive line mates helped smooth the transition for first-year starting quarterback Zac Taylor, who shattered Nebraska single-season and single-game passing records. Thomas missed the final four games of the season with a shoulder injury.

2004 (Junior)
Thomas played against Western Illinois, but missed the rest of the year with an injury.

Before Nebraska (Farrington HS/College of San Francisco)
Thomas came to Lincoln from the City College of San Francisco, where he started every game at offensive tackle in 2003 to help the Rams to a perfect 12-0 record and the California junior college state championship. The Rams outscored their opponents 520-81 in 2003. Thomas and his Rams teammates defeated Grossmont College, quarterbacked by Jordan Adams, 38-35 in the state championship game.

Thomas helped the Rams and Coach George Rush put up prolific offensive numbers. Thomas played guard as a freshman and helped City College of San Francisco to a 10-2 record and an appearance in the Hawaiian Punch Bowl. Thomas earned All-NorCal honors as a sophomore and was voted the most improved offensive lineman on the team.

Before his career at the City College of San Francisco, Thomas played two years of high school ball at Farrington High School in Honolulu. He started on the offensive line for Coach Harold Tanaka and helped Farrington reach the state playoffs. Thomas chose Nebraska over Oregon State, Oregon and Utah.

Personal
Thomas is the son of Seraphine Fuamatu and was born on Feb. 4, 1983. He majored in sociology.
