1998 Season
Julie Greco appeared in 21 games as a sophomore. She put up eleven points, scoring five goals and one assist. Two of those goals came against Southwest Missouri State in a 7-0 Husker win on Sept. 27.

1997 Season
Greco appeared in 14 games with no starts. She was slowed by a knee injury early in the season, and missed the first six games after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery on Aug. 22. She saw her first action in an 8-0 win over Arkansas, scoring the first goal of her career in the 75th minute. She added goals in wins over Texas Tech and Oklahoma to finish the season with six points. Greco's three goals on the season tied with Tanya Franck for sixth-best among the Huskers.

High School
Greco combined for seven goals and 19 assists in her final two seasons, while leading Omaha Marian to a Class A state title in 1996 and a second-place finish in 1997. Greco was a three-year starter for Coach Chris Rose, twice earning first-team all-state and All-Metro Conference honors at Omaha Marian. Greco was a member of the North Team in the 1997 Nebraska Shrine Game. She earned four letters in soccer and one letter in basketball during her high school career and was a member of the honor roll.

Other Information
Greco was one of the top players on the Omaha Gladiator El Pique club team. Gladiator El Pique, coach by Chris Perrone, has traveled to the regional tournament each of the last eight years. Other products of the Gladiator club program include Husker newcomers Becky Preston and Meghan Anderson. Former Husker Stephanie Vacek was also a product of the Gladiator program.

Personal Information
The daughter of Chuck and Jeannie Greco, Julie has three brothers, twins Dan and Tom, 22, and Jeff, 19. Julie was an education major. She was born April 7, 1979.
