2008 Season
Brittany Pfeil earned the starting nod in the fourth game of the Huskers’ 2008 season, and posted a 10-6-1 record as a starter. She allowed 16 goals in 18 appearances, while making 59 saves. She posted a double-overtime shutout of Drake on Aug. 16 and followed with back-to-back shutouts against Texas Tech and Oklahoma. She posted a career-high seven saves twice against No. 7 Texas A&M on Oct. 10 and Iowa State on Oct. 31. She earned more than five saves in five NU contests during hte season, and her 0.92 goals-against average ranked fifth in the Big 12 Conference.

2007 Season
Pfeil gave the incoming Mills a competitive run for the starting goalkeeper position, but Pfeil ultimately backed-up Mills in 2007. Pfeil proved valuable to the Husker program, as she pushed Mills throughout the season in practices and was a steady-handed second option in the net.

Pfeil saw action in five games, where she collected three saves and allowed two goals. She set a career high with over 129 minutes of playing time during the season. Pfeil's season was highlighted in a 4-0 NU shutout of Lamar on Oct. 12, a game in which she made a career-high two saves.

2006 Season
Pfeil got her first game experience in 2006 in relief of sophomore goalkeeper Jamie Klages in Nebraska's 4-1 win over Drake on Sept. 10. Pfeil's first action in the net included a penalty kick that sailed just wide of her outstretched gloves and into the net for her only goal allowed on the season.

2005 Season
Pfeil redshirted in her first season at Nebraska.

High School
As a junior at Norfolk High School, Pfeil finished fourth in the state – and second in Class A – with 174 saves. She finished the season by allowing 18 goals in 14 games for a goals-against average of 1.28. In her senior season, Pfeil recorded 135 saves and posted a 1.76 goals-against average, including three shutouts. She was invited to play in the Nebraska Shrine Soccer Classic. In her senior season, Pfeil earned Class A honorable-mention all-state accolades.

In her freshman season, Pfeil recorded 162 saves and then tallied 193 saves in her sophomore season. For her career, Pfeil finished with 664 saves and 19 shutouts. She holds the Norfolk record for most saves in a career, most saves in a game (31) and most shutouts in a career.

Pfeil also participated in basketball and volleyball at Norfolk High, earning two letters in volleyball and one letter in basketball.

Pfeil played club soccer for the Norfolk Express and the Columbus United.
