Hastings, Neb. – Luke Weber (157 – unattached), Taylor Venz (184 – unattached) and Eric Schultz (197 – unattached) each captured individual titles at the Hastings Cusatis Open at Lynn Farrell Arena on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Weber pinned three of his five opponents en route to the 157-pound title. Venz earned bonus points in three of his four wins with one pin, one technical fall and one major decision. Schultz had one pin and one major decision among his five victories.

Brian Peska took runner-up honors at 133 pounds with a 4-1 showing. Caleb Licking (157 – unattached), Johnny Blankenship (165 – unattached) and Jaquon Sowell (174) each finished third. Aris Shino (141), Kyle Ruettiger (149 – unattached), Dalton Peters (165 – unattached) and Cade Svoboda (184 – unattached) also competed in Hastings.
