Nebraska's Team History

By NU Athletic Communications

The Huskers are one of the top teams in the country and have proven it over the years at the NCAA Championships. Nebraska has recorded 22 top-10 team finishes at nationals, including eight top-five finishes. NU recorded one of its best stretches ever as a team from 1981-84, as the team finished sixth, sixth and fourth at the NCAA Championships in three successive seasons.

The Huskers have also had their share of success under current Head Coach Mark Manning. At the helm since 2000, Manning has guided Nebraska to six top-eight finishes, including fourth-place farings in 2008 and 2009. The marks were NU's highest since a third-place showing in 1993. Below are Nebraska's top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships and NU's team results since 1980, including the number of qualifiers and All-Americans.
