12 Huskers were named to the First-Team, including seniors Courtney Jolly (4th First-Team nomination), Jenna Stroud (1st First-Team nomination, 2nd overall), Jenny Toler (4th First-Team nomination) and Christina Yemm (3rd First-Team nomination). Among those earning their first Academic All-Big 12 nomination were Jess Andrews, Emily Burbach, Julie Giehl, Kelsey Grushecky and Meredith Matthies, all sophomores. Senior C.J. Bray and junior Colleen Criss earned Second-Team nominations.
