Chad Chiesa joined the Nebraska Athletic Department as a microcomputer specialist for computing services in October of 2009.
Originally from Omaha, Chiesa earned his bachelor’s degree in 2009 from the University of Nebraska-Omaha College of Information Science and Technology, where he majored in information systems and quantitative analysis.
During his time as an undergraduate, Chiesa worked for the college as a systems assistant before assuming a role as an operations administrator/network specialist for the Peter Kiewit Institute. Chiesa went on to become the institute’s lead network administrator.
While in high school at Omaha North, he also worked in the athletic department as the lead video technician for football, basketball and soccer. He was also a statistician for football and basketball contests, and assisted in the management of event logistics for home varsity football games.
