The University of Nebraska is hosting the 2012 Big Ten Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25 at the Devaney Center Indoor Track.
The Huskers, who are hosting the first combined men's and women's indoor championships and the first Big Ten Championship at NU, will be competing for the conference title against some of the nation's toughest competition. Ohio State is the defending Big Ten indoor champion on the women's side, while Minnesota took the men's title in 2011. The Husker women captured Nebraska's 103rd conference title in 2011, while the men last earned an indoor conference crown in 2007.
Fans are reminded to secure their tickets for the 2012 Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships held at the Devaney Center Indoor Track on Friday, Feb. 24 and Saturday, Feb. 25. The event is slated to begin at 10 a.m. on both days.
Reserved two-day tickets are now sold out. General Admission two-day tickets as well as single-day tickets may be purchase at the door to the Devaney Center. Single-day tickets for Saturday may still be purchased online.
