Bid on a Signed 18x24-inch Sports Illustrated Canvas Cover of Eric Crouch
The Nov. 26, 2001 Sports Illustrated cover asked an important question: Who is Eric Crouch? After Nebraska's record-setting quarterback led the Huskers to a 20-10 upset over Oklahoma - a game in which Crouch caught a touchdown pass (his signature Heisman moment) - SI came up with an answer to its own question. The magazine published a story about "The Nebraska quarterback's unlikely road to Heisman front-runner."
One of Nebraska's most popular players ever, Crouch ended up winning the Heisman in December, becoming the 67th recipient of the famed Heisman after rushing for 61 career touchdowns. He edged Florida quarterback Rex Grossman for the award. Now, you can own a beautiful autographed 18x24-inch canvas-wrapped reproduction of that Sports Illustrated cover, which shows a serious-minded Crouch gripping a football. He's signed the art piece "Eric Crouch 2001 Heisman." Whoever wins this auction will receive a certificate of authenticity with this artwork. Bidding begins at $350 and includes minimum incremental competitive bids of $25. The auction will end on Friday, Nov. 13 at 2:15 p.m.
** A $10 shipping fee will be added to the winning bid ** Funds generated from this auction will directly benefit the student-athletes within The University of Nebraska Department of Athletics.
